Week 7: Tigers stay perfect with 41-12 rout of Holy Angels


Derek Waldbillig rushed for four touchdowns as the Farmington football team overcame a slow start with 34 unanswered points in a 41-12 rout of Holy Angels Friday night at a roofless Stardome in Richfield.

Reactions mixed after first year of smoking ban


A year has come and gone already since Minnesota's statewide smoking ban went into effect. For the most part, Farmington bars and restaurants are rebounding from the initial decrease that followed the ban.

Activity returns to Grand Hall


The huge, arched windows in the second floor of downtown Farmington's Exchange Bank building let in massive amounts of light, giving everything inside an almost supernatural glow. But for 20 years or more there weren't many who knew that. The space, once host to plays, concerts and community meetings, was closed to the public and in no shape to serve as a community gathering place.
